Kelvin Staging Google data use

This synthetic testing application is not for customer delivery.

Sign-in and selected Tracker

Google sign-in provides your account identity and basic profile so QuoteApp can check your approved tester role. Connecting a Tracker separately authorizes the assigned Google Sheet and MARK-UP worksheet. Google’s drive.file permission can allow file changes; QuoteApp’s delegated Sheet reader performs reads only. Employee and Approver copies are shared as Viewer. Approver cannot connect a Tracker or prepare quotations in QuoteApp.

Purpose and storage

Selected Sheet values, source row identities and formula evidence support quotation calculations, freshness checks, saved work and PDFs. Google connection tokens are encrypted in Kelvin’s isolated database; encryption keys and application secrets use separate secret storage. Saved quotations, private PDFs and audit records remain in Kelvin resources. Approved roles and authorized project operators have access needed to operate and review this environment. Google provides the cloud storage and authentication services. Do not enter real customer data.

Sheet data is not used for advertising, resale, model training or unrelated analytics. Performance diagnostics record stage timings and counts, not Sheet contents or tokens.

Disconnect and deletion requests

Disconnect immediately blocks the app’s connection and attempts Google token revocation. If Google cannot confirm revocation, a token remains encrypted only for a retry; reconnect stays blocked until revocation finishes. Disconnect can also invalidate related Google grants for this OAuth project. Saved work and existing PDFs are preserved; source-dependent actions require reconnecting and rechecking the assigned Sheet. You can also review access in your Google account connections.

The app can record your deletion request for the Kelvin Owner to review. Recording a request does not delete data or promise a completion deadline. Automatic deletion is disabled pending an owner-approved retention and deletion policy. The PDF bucket currently has a 90-day lifecycle and seven-day soft-delete retention; this is not immediate physical erasure. Firestore has no automatic retention deadline. Pending revocation tokens are removed after confirmed revocation.

Testing duration

External / Testing mode may require Sheet reconnection after seven days. The environment and saved work do not expire after one week, and ordinary tester membership has no 20-minute limit. The Owner can revoke access.
